Do you have experience in the field of Aerospace? We would like to hear from you. NTi is looking for an experienced Field Service Representative. 


The Field Service Representative is the customer on-site liaison between NTi and Rapid Development Center customers. The FSR will support the installation, operation, and calibration/maintenance of RPDTM equipment on-site at customers' locations. FSR will also train customers to properly maintain and operate equipment effectively. The FSR is a continuous conduit to engineering teams in Plattsburgh, NY and Eggemoen, Norway to improve technology, equipment, and processes.   

Work tasks and responsibilities 

  • Work as a team member in roll-out projects of RPDTM machines including executing acceptance testing and commissioning.
  • Work as a team member to achieve successful completion of Acceptance Test Plans, Machine Qualification, and machine maintenance. Execute and record machine calibration at prescribed intervals.
  • Perform top-level troubleshooting and root cause/corrective action for installed machines.
  • Maintain observations log and interface with Technology Center for disposition and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Programming of RPD machines, using NTi proprietary software, and training customers to do the same
  • Troubleshoot software and printing issues and drive solutions
  • Observe and document process knowledge into released specifications, Interface Control Documents, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and training material.
  • Support NTi, and customers, policies on HES and Quality.
  • Maintain configuration control of machines
  • Identify improvements to increase profitability, competitiveness, reliability, quality, safety, etc.
  • Carry out NTi supportive tasks given by manager
  • Support NTi policies on HES and Quality

Preferred education background and professional experience 

  • BS or MS in engineering, preferably Controls/Automation, or Electrical Engineer
  • Strong systems engineering development experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of integrated electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience training others in technical areas

  • Ability to work with various internal and external stakeholders to realize company objectives
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Analytic and with ability to handle complex customer approval requirements.
  • Ability to provide consistent work products and complete projects on time.
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Willingness to work remote at customers sites for extended duration
  • Structure and accuracy in daily work
