Do you have Experience in Aerospace ? Norsk Titanium is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join the team. 


Understand customer needs in RFI/RFQ process. Plan part qualification and make manufacturing plan with normal production test program and jig planning.

Work Tasks and responsibilities 

  • Operational and professional responsibility for manufacturing engineering and FPQ in production
  • Responsible in production for introduction and qualification of new products
  • Responsible for all manufacturing plans for all assigned projects
  • Convert customer requirements into internal plans, requirements and systems
  • Develop systems, procedures, templates for planning, production and traceability
  • Deliver technical documentation package for assigned projects
  • Follow up assigned projects internally, at sub vendors, to customers
  • Represent production in RFI and RFQ processes
  • Ensure compliance to all applicable standards, requirements and specifications
  • Develop and standardise FPQ
  • Production planning and resource planning
  • Preparation and staging of raw material and consumables
  • Give input to forecast for raw material and consumables
  • Train the organization as SME within manufacturing engineering
  • Work with supply chain and QA on vendor approval and development
  • Propose improvements to increase profitability, competitiveness, reliability, quality, safety, etc.
  • Carry out NTi supportive tasks given by manager
  • Support NTi policies on HES and Quality

Preferred educational background and professional experience 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (electric, automation, mechanical, machine or production process)
  • Experience from New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • Experience from documentation and delivering technical documentation package
  • Experience from aerospace, automotive or other relevant industry
  • Experience from production planning
  • Experience from industrial process improvement work
  • Experience with Catia or equal 3D software
